Grades 1-5; Fall/Winter 2022
Does your child have difficulty making friends? Would your child benefit from recognizing social cues? Does he or she need extra help expressing emotions appropriately? Does your child report feeling bullied at school or in social situations? Has your child been diagnosed with Social Anxiety, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, or ADHD? Or is he or she simply shy or socially awkward? Some children need a little help learning social skills. G.L.A.S.S.: Getting Loud,
Acknowledging Silent Siblings
Grades 9-12; Fall/Winter 2022
Does your teen have a sibling with a disability? Teens with this family dynamic are at higher risk of having more emotional expression issues, lower ability to adjust to life’s changes, higher rates of depression and anxiety, lower communication and self-advocacy skills, and lower self-esteem. G.L.A.S.S. is a group specifically designed for these teens to help provide concrete skills and support from others who understand this unique sibling experience. Topics covered include: Self-advocating without guilt, coping strategies and skills, increased self-esteem, and healthy boundaries and self-care. Young Adult Life Skills

Mindfulness-Based Stress
Reduction Group for Teens
Grades 9-12; Fall/Winter 2022
The teenage years are a time of increasing pressure and stress. Young people often find themselves overwhelmed with higher academic workloads, athletics, fine arts, part-time jobs, and social events. The struggle to successfully balance commitments can lead to increased worry, anxiety, frustration, irritability, and depressed mood. This Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Group for high school students is designed to decrease stress by teaching skills for mindfulness, decreased judgment, relaxation, and good self-care. Teen DBT Group
Grades 9-12; Ongoing 2022

Is she struggling in her peer relationships? Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced-based approach that helps teens learn how to cope with emotions in a healthy and productive manner. DBT is especially helpful for teens diagnosed with anxiety or depression, or for kids struggling with self-harming behaviors such as cutting.
