Alexis acquired her undergraduate degree in psychology with a concentration in clinical/counseling psychology from Methodist University. During her time at Methodist University, Alexis conducted a research study focusing on how sleep affects learning efficiency/memory and was able to present her findings at multiple college symposiums. During her graduate school experience, Alexis completed her Master’s-level internship working with clients at Wynns Family Psychology and is eager and excited to once again be a part of the WFP family!

In her free time, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching new tv shows (let her know if you have any recommendations), going to the beach, and traveling! She loves finding new restaurants and exploring exciting opportunities that come her way! Being married to a first responder herself, Alexis has first-hand experience of the unique challenges that first-responders and their families may face.
