Christine Rose, Psy.D. holds a Doctorate and Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology. She provides therapy services, testing services, and group services to children, teenagers, and adults.

Dr. Rose has an extensive background in child psychology and development, as well as clinical training and experience with individual therapy, play therapy, and family therapy. Her experience includes child and adolescent therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Rose specializes in the treatment of children experiencing emotional problems and/or behavioral problems, including anxiety, ADHD, depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, social skills issues, and Autism Spectrum disorders. Dr. Rose understands the importance of parental involvement in the lives of children and works with families to determine treatment goals. She uses a variety of therapy techniques to reach these goals, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.

Dr. Rose has experience conducting psychological testing, including neuropsychological assessments, LD testing, ADHD testing, achievement testing, and behavioral questionnaires. Her focus of testing is to determine a child’s strengths and weaknesses. Treatment recommendations are then tailored to each individual child with the goals of exploiting strengths and minimizing weaknesses.

Dr. Rose has extensive experience leading groups for kids and teens. During her internship, she successfully ran daily groups for children and adolescents on an inpatient unit. These groups focused on identifying triggers, building coping skills, identifying and practicing grounding techniques, family dynamics, and social skills. Additionally, Dr. Rose has lead many groups focused on building friendships and social skills with children on the Autism Spectrum.

Dr. Rose attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, CA where she received her Doctorate and Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology. She was a faculty assistant as well as a peer supervisor.

Dr. Rose enjoys trying new foods, learning about different cultures, and traveling. She also enjoys baking cookies, pies, cakes, and cinnamon rolls.
